This was a re-design of Inedo's "About Us" section, you can view it on the full live section of the site here.
After the re-design was complete, engagement increased by 30%.
Brief
In order to attract hirable candidates, Inedo.com needed to be updated to appear more professional and mature.
There is “quirky” content at the forefront of the site and branding, and it needs to be removed or hidden. It is also required that this redesign is done as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Tasks to begin with:
- Update the look and content of the About Us page
- Create a new Careers page
- Create a New Job posting layout
- and more
The Design
To make the "about us" section feel fresh and new, I came up with a theme to tie all of the pages in this section together. Instead of going with the industry cliche of "blobby" cartoon characters that are all over the tech industry, I decided to change it up by featuring stock photos of miniature figurines. It added fun elements to each page, and was a way to represent Inedo as different without being too "quirky".
I kept design consistency throughout with the figurine images and uniform web elements.
